MPC Pad 187 is a program editor for the Akai MPC 1000, MPC 2500, and MPC 500. The application allows for easy editing and creation of MPC program files.

The app can create and edit programs for all values found in the Slider, Mixer, and Program modes of the MPC 1000 OS 1. MPC Pad 187 can edit all program files it creates but may not be able to edit program files that are created or saved by the MPC hardware.

AkBrowser can read samples from both Yamaha A4000/A5000 and A3000 Sample Disks and convert sample waveform data into AIFF files. Samples can be auditioned by simply double-clicking the file in the browser.

AkBrowser can display the sample disk's files and folders in both a list and column view similar to the Mac OS X Finder. Also, multiple samples can be selected and converted to AIFF files.

I've made a Mac OS X service to convert audio files' sample rates and resolutions using SoX. The service lets you right-click on audio files in the Finder and batch convert their sample rates and resolutions.
